SUMMARY
The Project Assistant coordinates onsite power installations from initial quoting through completion, providing support to estimate time and materials, site layout and design, and maintaining communication with production crews and the superintendent throughout the job.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support to department manager for estimating, site visits and scheduling
- Develop/maintain reporting structure for quoting activity and contract balance
- Attend pre-construction meetings and coordinate with subcontractors
- Ride with area Sales Representatives to engage with customers on job sites.
- Assist in developing best practices for electrical installations within the division.
- Adhere to Power Plus! safety and quality standards.
- Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.
COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and handle detailed information.
- Ability to effectively interact with customers and sales staff.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Must have a current California Driver’s License and a good driving record.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Strong organizational skills and a solid work ethic, requiring minimal supervision.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with customers and individuals at all levels of the organization, with tact, diplomacy, and in accordance with the company’s customer service philosophy.
- Proven ability to provide meticulous attention to detail while meeting aggressive deadlines.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Above-average attention to detail in composing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent professional judgment.
- Ability to work as a member of a high-performing team and be a strong team player
Hourly Pay Range $23.00 – $25.00
